Mycodome v2 Features & Upgrades


The Mycodome v2.0™ Basic Features:

Open or close the filter to maintain the proper levels of humidity and allow air circulation for the perfect mushroom growing environment.
Specially designed dome lid created to evenly distribute moisture in the growing environment.
Improved quality of the connection device for the dome lid makes it easier to check on your experiments.
Large fruiting tray that works with cakes or casing methods. L.E.C.A air stone with filtered intake maintains clean, moist air.
New part added to help increase bubble action for improved humidity.
2 chambers allow for multi-tasking in mycology. You can Incubate - Birth / Fruit - And even dry you mushrooms.
Digital temperature gauge for accurate environmental controls. Also comes with supplies: Quick Dry, L.E.C.A., and optional Cakes or Casing growing packages.
We have doubled the power of our submersible heater for increased temperature control.

The Mycodome is now available by itself OR you can choose from these
upgrade options to get a faster start on the growing process.

The Mycodome no longer comes with substrate jars so that we
could give YOU an opportunity to choose the experience level.
There are two options to choose from: MYG Mini or 6 Substrate Jars

Mini MYG Kit - $30.00 upgrade
You get 2 pre-sterilized quarts of rye grain. 1 quart of casing soil, 1 quart of shredded wheat straw, & 1 round casing tray that fits perfectly into your Mycodome. You should be familiar with pasteurizing substrates and the basic rules of sterility to work with this kit. We recommend this one for more experienced growers. The mini MYG will flush meatier mushrooms more often than those off of cakes. You will be amazed how far straw will go! Comes with a free edible culture syringe! visit spores101 for other strains
6 substrate jars - $30.00 upgrade
These half pint, wide mouth jars are packed with our secret recipe and are guaranteed to flush beautiful, healthy mushrooms. The “cake method” is a very easy way to grow mushrooms and we recommend this for any beginners in mycology. Simply shoot the jars with your favorite edible culture or spores and within a week or two the jars will be filled with white mycelium. Fruit them in your Mycodome 2.0 with its precise new features. Comes with a free edible culture syringe!
